OLD LYME, CT – You’re invited to the Art Supply Expo, a free event October 8, 2022 from 10am-3pm at the Lyme Art Association! Discover new art products and learn new techniques. Find special offers, free samples and discounts. See art demonstrations by artists, Roy Kinzer and Scott Stevenson. And after shopping, don’t forget to visit the Lyme Art Association’s exhibit, New England Landscape. For more than a century, the natural beauty of New England has inspired the member artists of the Lyme Art Association to create sublime works that capture the multifaceted color and character of the landscape.

Artists will be delighted with product presentations and art samples from Chelsea Classical Studio Fine Art Materials, Dixon, (seller of Strathmore, Canson and Arches papers), Golden Artist Colors, Jerry’s Artarama of Connecticut, JJC Industries, (distributor of Daniel Smith paints), MacPherson’s, Royal Talens, Silver Brush and Wholesale Frame Company.

About the Lyme Art Association: Founded in 1914 by American Impressionists, the Lyme Art Association continues the tradition of exhibiting and selling representative works of art by its members and visiting artists, as well as offering art classes, lectures and other public programs to the community. . The Lyme Art Association is located at 90 Lyme Street in Old Lyme, CT, in a building designed by Lyme Colony artist and architect Charles Adams Platt and located in the National Historic District. Admission is free with contributions appreciated.
