Lyme Art Association First Impressions Exhibition is a paneled exhibition of the Association’s Associate Artist Members, accomplished artists who have successfully exhibited in selective exhibitions at the Lyme Art Association for a number of years. This exhibition will include a variety of media and themes: landscapes, portraits and still lifes, as well as sculpture. In addition, the New Elected Artists exhibition in the Goodman Gallery will feature the work of four newly elected artists. This year, the chosen artists welcome Michael Centrella, Jacqueline Jones, Susan Termyn and Len Swec to this very selective and talented group of artists. Both exhibitions run from January 15 to March 11, 2021.

“The Annual exhibition of associated artists showcases the range, creativity and excellence of our associate artist members. This exhibit includes a variety of subjects, media and styles: paintings or sculptures that capture the range of human emotions, the beauty and grandeur of the Connecticut landscape, or personal items and the environment of everyday life. “Says Jocelyn Zallinger, LAA’s Gallery” The exhibition of newly elected artists at the Goodman Gallery promises to be impressive; our new class of elected artists is very accomplished! “

First impressions and New artists elected are visible from January 15 to March 11, 2021. Please wear a face cover when visiting and practice social distancing. Visiting the gallery is a wonderful and safe outing in this cold and gloomy season!
