Manasquan CVS site request not yet submitted: property manager

MANASQUAN, NJ — An official site plan has yet to be filed for a proposed new CVS pharmacy on Main Street, according to representatives from the property management company.

The site of the proposed location is 176 E. Main Street, the former location of the Acme Food Market which closed in December 2020, according to Asbury Park Press. CVS has already signed a lease with Levin Management, the property management and leasing agent.

Plaintiff Manasquan Holdings LLC aims to renovate the 19,600 square foot building to include a drive-thru window, according to planning board documents. But while an informal hearing was held by Manasquan planners on Tuesday, the landlord’s attorney is still to file a formal site plan application with the planning board for proper review.

Once studied, the plan will be entered on the borough’s calendar for a public meeting.

“Levin Management Corporation is pleased to announce that a lease has been signed with CVS for the entire building formerly occupied by Acme, and we look forward to proceeding with a site plan application with the Borough for upgrade the property and building with state-of-the-art CVS to serve Manasquan residents and its seasonal visitors,” said a representative from Levin Management Corporation.
