Newburyport Art Association Announces Auction Exhibition | Local News

NEWBURYPORT – The Newburyport Art Association presents its Venetian Art Auction and Carnival on September 24, an annual fundraiser that supports its mission and the needs of Newburyport’s art community.

The event includes bidding, live paintings by artist Alan Bull, raffle, Joy Nest cocktails, artwork, and more. There is a limited number of VIP tickets. These tickets provide access to the auction event, reserved seating during the live auction, as well as entry to the VIP Art Preview celebration on September 9, from 6-8 p.m. Join the NAA that evening to meet artists and attend a private preview. visit his art exhibition at auction.

The auction is Newburyport Art’s largest fundraising event and proceeds from all ticket sales and art purchases support the organization in its mission to promote and exhibit the work of its members, d to provide educational opportunities for students and artists of all ages and skills, and to enable accessibility in the visual arts for all with a focus on local school students and adults with special needs.

The art auction exhibition is on view to the public from September 10 to 21 in its Sargent and Mini galleries on the first floor and in the Hartson gallery on the second floor. The exhibition will be presented in conjunction with Donald Jurney’s featured artist’s solo exhibition at the Hills Gallery. All works are for sale. The handicapped-accessible gallery is free and open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at for admission to auction and drawing lots. VIP tickets are $150 and general admission is $100.
