It’s really so sad, his character designs were always so full of personality. I know some might have found them silly but they had a real charm about them. 49 is way too young

It really hurts. Mr. Wyatt was involved in so many of my favorite cartoons growing up and had such a strong sense of design and fandom ties.
It injected a lot of anime design sense and screams while having its own distinctive style.
RIP Mr. Wyatt. Thank you for everything you have contributed as an artist and as a creator.

I loved his character designs. Transformers Animated was my introduction to Transformers as a kid and Animated along with Teen Titans are two of my favorite shows from my childhood.
Rest in peace Derrick J. Wyatt, you will be missed.
