The Plano Art Association’s 125 Annual Show is on display at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts at 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, TX 75082. Plano Art Association is a 50-year-old arts organization made up of artists residing in Plano and surrounding communities. The installation will remain on display from June 2, 2021 to June 28, 2021 in the Forrest & Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery at the Eisemann Center. The jury exhibit showcased the top 80 works in three categories: 2D Artwork, 3D Artwork, and Photography and was open to all artists living within a 125-mile radius of Plano.
The jurors for the exhibit were: Sara Scherper, gallery teacher for the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, Texas; Jane Cornish Smith, adjunct art teacher at Texas A&M University Commerce and Dan Burkholder, renowned photographer, innovator, artist and teacher.
Prizes: The 2-D, 3-D and Photography categories will each receive a first place ($ 500), second ($ 300) and third ($ 150) prize and a certificate. Best of Show will receive a prize of $ 1,000 and a certificate. Certificates of Merit ($ 50 each) will also be awarded to three finalists in each artistic genre category. Gallery opening hours are 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and during all public events. The exhibition is free and open to the public. The Charles W.
