Our Digital Marketing department is looking for an ambitious and culturally-appropriate Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Analyst to join the team to help with day-to-day maintenance and optimization of the platform, as well as to act as a key liaison between the company and the external. sellers. The role will require the incumbent to work effectively with the digital marketing team, design studio, IT teams and external partners. The role requires someone who proactively seeks out relevant information, is self-directed and resolves issues when necessary to support business and CRM objectives.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a rigorous training program in partnership with Salesforce as well as local industry experts to obtain the relevant Marketing Cloud certifications.

Key Performances / Areas of Focus

Daily management of the platform

    • Manage the Global Marketing Cloud instance and ensure platform stability.

    • Lead the day-to-day management and oversight of incident management, service requests and seasonal releases.

    • Manage ongoing Marketing Cloud implementations, troubleshoot system errors, and provide user support.

    • User administration (configuration and management of users and roles) within the assigned business unit.

    • Monitor system performance, check health, and verify that integrations are working as expected

Email Marketing Management

    • Create, test and deploy complex email campaigns in partnership with digital content coordinators.

    • Facilitate and recommend relevant A/B testing and use of dynamic content.

    • Enhance existing HTML email templates with HTML, CSS, AMPscript.

    • Participate in strategic thinking around email design, deliverability, and capabilities in Marketing Cloud.

Data management and segmentation

    • Create segmentations using analytics, logic, and query tools in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and occasionally Salesforce Service Cloud.

    • Checking data integrity between Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Project Requirements and Partner Liaison

    • Probe and translate business needs into clearly defined and detailed project requirements.

    • Act as daily liaison for external Salesforce partners.

    • Perform UAT as requested by partners and provide approval of all developments/implementations prior to go-live.

    • Own and implement the annual Salesforce Marketing Cloud roadmap in partnership with external development partners.

Reports

    • Establish and monitor email KPIs in partnership with key business stakeholders using Datorama’s advanced reporting.

    • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports including recommendations to improve results.

Teamwork and collaboration

    • Onboard and train the entire digital marketing team on any new implementations or releases that directly impact their day using the platform.

    • Actively participate in relevant meetings and demonstrate the value of the platform by proactively contributing ideas, identifying areas to add and driving continuous improvement

    • Act as a digital marketing ambassador within the company

Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT, digital or email marketing environment

    • 2 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience or experience with marketing automation software

    • Retail sector covering both store and e-commerce (advantageous)

    • Marketing Cloud experience would be advantageous, but previous experience working with marketing automation software is essential.

    • Knowledge of user administration, data integration tools, setting up business units and securing content visibility.

    • Understand Marketing Cloud applications such as Email Studio, Automation Studio, Social (beneficial)

    • Attention to detail and problem solving is essential
