The show of all the members of the Kittery Art Association: En Plein Air


KITTERY – The Kittery Art Association is about to present “En Plein Air”, a member-only show showcasing works of art created in the great outdoors.

Whether the artists worked on one of the many summer excursions with the Kittery Art Association’s En Plein Air group or independently took inspiration from the vast possibilities for on-site artistic creation, this exhibition will showcase where art has come from. has taken the KAA creative community over the past year.

En Plein Air at the Kittery Art Association will now run through November 28. A public opening reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 23. The gallery is open Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entrance to the gallery is free and everyone is welcome.

Masks are mandatory for all gallery visitors and proof of vaccination is required for the October 23 reception.

KAA is located at 8 Coleman Ave., Kittery Point. The gallery showcases the work of Seacoast artists in monthly exhibitions and welcomes new members and art lovers of all ages. When not battling a global pandemic, KAA also hosts music events, workshops, poetry readings, figure study sessions, films, and other events in its converted fire station space. art gallery just off Route 103.
