WiseKHey Recru Sistine Crutchfield as Art Director of NFT for Lread it Aartistic Eextension of his WISE.ART Marketplace

Geneva, Switzerland – September 16, 2021 – WISeKey International Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: WKEY; SIX: WIHN), a leading cybersecurity, IoT and AI platform company, today announced the appointment of Sixtine Crutchfield to the position as Artistic Director of NFT to lead the artistic expansion of its WISe.ART MarketPlace, effective immediately.

On September 1, 2021, WISeKey commercially launched its WISe.Art NFT platform ( for the collectibles and luxury market. In line with the needs of buyers and sellers of high-value goods, the WISe.Art platform evolves the original WISe.Art collection and constitutes a full-fledged marketplace with its own digital currency, the possibility of including curators and multipliers, tagging options, and a special NFT design.

The NFT design of the WISe.Art platform ensures that in addition to an authenticated and signed version of the actual digital asset, an irreversible link to a physical object is in place, in addition to proof of ownership, provenance and a set of contracts outlining future use and monetization streams. The NFTs and the platform are secured by WISeKey’s various security technologies allowing the authentication of physical objects as well as digital assets in an end-to-end secure process.

During her professional career, Ms. Crutchfield has had the opportunity to extend her formal training in communications (with a double major in arts from the University of Denver, Colorado) to effective marketing and branding solutions. She has often assumed responsibility for several major international projects, mainly commercial and sometimes humanitarian or at least with a strong social dimension.

For nearly a decade, Ms. Crutchfield worked for the Jan Krugier Gallery, where she gained hands-on experience at all levels of the art market and knowledge of international gallery management. Then, after spending eleven years in Australia and setting up a multitude of artistic and cultural projects, she returned to Switzerland where she resumed studies to train as a banker. Finally, she returned to the art world as general manager of Art Culture Studio organizing major international art fairs and events in Switzerland and abroad.

During her seven years at Banque Edouard Constant, where she was responsible for wealth management in various geographical areas, she volunteered for numerous Bank projects, including art exhibitions, client events such as ski racing and match racing in Sweden. Ms Crutchfield also joined the preparation and implementation teams for the entry into the new millennium as well as the introduction of the EURO.

Applying her skills, experience and industrial know-how to the creation of a unique MBA program specializing in art management for the Geneva Business School is an interesting challenge that she has taken up with incredible energy. The course will launch in February 2022 with 7 of the world’s top experts to teach the basics of this so-called opaque industry. The training is aimed at bankers, family office managers, insurance companies, law firms, budding collectors and curators as well as art school graduates.
